Where to Buy Big Size T‑Shirts in South Africa

If you have read my story Then you know that I have struggled to find T-Shirts to fit my body. I have searched high and low to find clothing that is loose and comfortable for my body shape. In South Africa, there are very few shops that cater to big guys like me. I know that I am not alone in this search as I see many larger people out and about and I always wonder where they get their clothing. I can't really just walk up to a stranger and say : "Hi, I am a big man like you, can I ask you where you shop?". There used to be this shop in Woodstock that specialised in big and tall clothes, but it was mostly formal wear and they have since closed down.

The truth is that I simply got fed up with trying to find premium quality extra large, oversized T-Shirts in South Africa and I became disillusioned with importing clothes that were over-priced due the weakness of the Rand and attracted import duties. So, I decided to make my own start BigOkes.co.za and offer them for sale to other big men at affordable price and made right here in Cape Town, South Africa. I wanted a high quality product that would be durable, but at the same time light weight, loose fiting and cool for the South African summer. 100% Pure cotton was the obvious choice, the extra length and extra girth is of my own design. So basically, customers get a an oversized T-Shirt that is specifically designed, cut and tailored for bigger men.
